H&D is an attitude, a “groove,” a way. It’s about, not focusing on getting more, or even saving more (although that’s a part of it), but about getting more out of what you already got.
H&D is not about getting by, but about getting down. It’s about making lemonade. H&D is about, “if you can talk you can sing, if you can walk you can dance,” or however that goes. H&D is self-help, of a sort, but without the commonplaces, tautologies, and wishful thinking, if we can help it. H&D is not spiritual or religious, per se (except in the sense that everything is), because we’re much more concerned about practical advice and tips from those who’ve experienced H&D firsthand, and that means you, yes you.
We’re all H&D to some degree, trying to get by in one way, suffering in a way, yearning in a way, and looking for ways to just appreciate. “How can we get more out of what we already got?” is indeed the question, and for every person there’s a million answers. So how do you do it? How do you get more out of what you got? That’s what H&D is all about.
Here’s how it works: Everything starts out as posts, and occasionally a seasoned H&D editor will place something on one of the category pages. How does that sound?
